Waka Inoue – YS Web No 125

Waka Inoue (井上 和香 Inoue Waka, born May 13, 1980) is a Japanese idol, tarento and actress. She was born in Meguro, Tokyo as Naoko Aramura (新村 直子). Her mother is former actress Kyoko Saga.

Waka’s main claim to fame in the tarento circles is her bustline, which has earned her a legion of adoring fans. Her measurements led to her getting the nickname, “Japanese Monroe”, because of her similar body type to Marilyn Monroe.

Although she moved away from bikini modeling as her primary work from 2006, she continued to pose for annual calendars through 2009.

She became a top money earner in the tarento circles when she was made a spokeswoman for the “cash loan” company, Promise. She received wide exposure in print and TV advertising for the company, resulting in her name becoming a household one.

Waka further displayed her natural beauty by posing sans bikini in a TV commercial for the Japanese company, Wood One. The commercial was banned from TV as being too risque.

She also worked as a female guest announcer/interviewer for K-1 in 2006, after replacing Norika Fujiwara.
